We Can Help.
If you’ve been told you need an apostille and you’re not quite sure what that means, you’re not alone. Many of our clients come to us feeling unsure, rushed, or worried about getting their documents done correctly — especially when those documents are going overseas.
At California Bay Mobile Apostille & Notary Service, we help guide you through the process step by step. Whether your document needs to be notarized first, authenticated by the Secretary of State, or prepared for international use, we make sure it’s handled properly from start to finish.
Here are some of the documents we commonly help with:

It depends on the country and the type of document.
Documents for Hague Convention countries are usually processed faster.
Documents for non-Hague countries take longer because they require additional steps.
Hague countries: Typically 1–5 business days after documents are properly prepared.
Non-Hague countries: Usually 1–3 weeks or longer, depending on the country and requirements.
To avoid delays, we review your documents before notarization and guide you through the correct process.
We notarize many document types, including affidavits, powers of attorney, school documents, and other forms required for international use.
You must present a valid, government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport at the time of notarization.
Before signing or notarizing anything, it’s important to confirm that the document format is correct for apostille use. Some documents must be prepared in a specific way, especially for international use.
Many people don’t realize that notarizing the wrong document — or notarizing too soon — can delay or invalidate the apostille process. This happens often with powers of attorney, affidavits, and foreign-use forms.
If a document is notarized incorrectly, it may need to be redone before it can be authenticated by the Secretary of State. A quick review beforehand can save time, money, and frustration.
We take a moment to review your documents before notarization to make sure they’re apostille-ready. This helps ensure everything moves forward smoothly and correctly.
